Not to be outdone by the French, the Ukrainians came up with their own version of rolled chicken breasts with fresh minced herbs, chopped green onion and minced garlic and butter. Some versions of Chicken Kiev use chopped chives, or even dill. The chicken breasts are breaded and are great served with mashed potatoes and green vegetables.
