Mahi Mahi

Mahi mahi or common dolphinfish is found in temperate tropical and subtropical waters worldwide. It is a large fish sometimes mistaken for a dolphin (7 feet long!) It is a milder tasting fish than salmon but stronger than cod. The meat is lean, sweet, hearty firm and tender. It can be cooked many ways with any grouping of sauces or seasonings. Defrost mahi mahi overnight in your refrigerator, or place frozen in a bowl of cold water for 15-30 minutes.
